about beauty and sass
My goal with beauty and sass is to inspire readers to embrace beauty, fashion, health, recipes and more by sharing (what I hope to be) an approachable point of view. You will find practical tips here – topics like how to translate the latest fashion trend, easy recipes for a busy lifestyle, lazy hairstyle ideas, making the most out of your work wardrobe, and more.
I started this blog in Spring of 2013 while taking a break (or sabbatical) from the corporate world. My professional background has been mostly in beauty, having worked for companies such as Estee Lauder Companies and Procter & Gamble across skincare, cosmetics, and hair. Though I found everything related to beauty intimidating as a teen, I’ve learned the tips and tricks to make it a lot of fun. I share a lot of those tips on this blog. I also sometimes poke fun at some beauty and fashion trends, or try to make a trend more relevant to everyday life. I can be a bit sassy but it’s all in good fun.
Because I believe that beauty is about looking AND feeling good, I share recipes, DIY ideas, fitness motivation, travel experiences, and other related topics.
I love to hear from readers, so feel free to contact me. I hope that you enjoy the blog and thank you for visiting!
All the opinions on this site are my own, and not those of the companies that I’ve worked for in the past or work for currently. I also participate in affiliate programs which means that if you click and/or make a purchase through certain links on this site or any related social media platforms (including Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest), I may make a commission from that click and/or purchase. That said, I only mention products and brands that I genuinely love.
