So much happened over the week that the last one feels like so long ago. I’ve been working a lot and with the really cold SF weather (summer here is in full effect), I really feel okay with that. For the weekend, I’ll be spending some time with my dad for Father’s Day. And not much else planned. I guess recovering from the week?
Even in the midst of all the “chaos” (total exagerration) of the week, I gathered a few of my favorite things…
favorite travel tip: Darya was back to Summer Tomato this week with some really great posts. She talked about her experience with travel and the difficulty of maintaining healthy habits. So relatable and great advice, per usual. Love this blog – a must follow if you’re looking for a realistic perspective health from someone who actually knows what she is talking about! favorite show: Speaking of travel, I love all of Anthony Bourdain’s shows. I know he can be polarizing, but all that aside, he does a great job of showcasing countries and cultures we only hear about in the media in a way that brings people together – FOOD! I’m particularly excited about his recent adventure to Iran! No idea when the episode will air, but totally looking forward to the next season of Parts Unknown. favorite watermelon fusion recipe: If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve been really digging fresh summer recipes lately, and this watermelon round-up that my friends over at Brit + Co. put together sounds so refreshing. The poke watermelon is my next to try. (via Brit + Co.)
favorite handbags: Fashion has to be practical in my point of view and I found this guide to picking the right handbag for your lifestyle to be useful. Although, now that I’m looking at this – walking a dog with a clutch??! (via WhoWhatWear)
